With decades of experience across engineering, utility infrastructure, data centers and large-scale project delivery, we help owners navigate complex power challenges with practical guidance, clear analysis, and solutions built for real-world demands. 

Nick is a licensed Professional Electrical Engineer focused on data center power planning, onsite utility solutions, equipment procurement, utility coordination, permitting strategy, and energy economics. His data center experience began in Syska Hennessy Group’s critical facilities group, where he moved from surveying data centers as an intern to designing critical facilities and evaluating advanced power-generation options for large data center portfolios. 

Before co-funding Smart Grid Options, Nick founded the On-site Utility Solutions Group at Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, where he focused on performance-based electrical engineering, conceptual-stage power strategy, time-to-power acceleration, natural gas coordination, permitting, and levelized-cost analysis. He also served as Vice President and Regional Director at Glumac and helped lead Syska’s Los Angeles office.

Rendell supports the development of innovative energy solutions for data centers and modern utility infrastructure, with deep experience in technology program and supply chain management, systems integration, infrastructure design, public-sector technology platforms, and commercial operations. 

Before co-founding Smart Grid Options, Rendell managed technology programs at LAX with Parsons Corporation, overseeing low-voltage systems, network and data infrastructure, energy systems, and civil/site work. He also founded and led SmartComment Software, a digital public-comment management platform for agencies, organizations, and project teams. His earlier experience includes systems-integration leadership for transit projects and civil design work involving utilities, drainage, grading, pipelines, and transportation infrastructure. 

Rendell combines engineering, technology, and operating discipline to help Smart Grid scale energy-infrastructure solutions for power-intensive projects.

Kameron leads our focus on creating resilient, redundant, and rapidly deployable power solutions for data centers, utilities, and other high-demand projects. A mechanical engineer and licensed Professional Engineer, he brings executive experience in go-to-market strategy, consulting engineering, critical infrastructure, campus scale energy performance, and driving projects forward. 

Before joining Smart Grid Options, Kameron spent nearly 15 years at Glumac, advancing to Vice President and Director of Market Sectors on the executive team. He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at NewSchool of Architecture & Design, and serves on Oregon State University’s College of Engineering Dean’s Leadership Council. With a mechanical engineering degree from Oregon State University’s Honors College, Kameron’s credentials include PE, DBIA, WELL AP, and LEED AP BD+C.

David helps lead our engineering strategy, technical execution, and project delivery for complex power and infrastructure work, including data-center power strategy, engineering execution, RFP strategy, procurement planning, and technical advisory work. He brings more than two decades of experience in architecture-engineering, MEP design, power distribution engineering, project scoping and planning, critical infrastructure design, sustainability, and integrated project delivery. 

Before joining Smart Grid Options, David held senior leadership roles at Michael Baker International and Glumac, where he ultimately served as a Senior Vice President. He has deep supply chain experience, including leading equipment and power master plans for critical infrastructure projects across multiple industries, including healthcare, higher education, utilities, and commercial real estate. He has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Arizona.

Michael helps advance complex data center, power, and infrastructure projects, specializing in energy infrastructure, onsite power generation, utility strategy, distributed energy, building systems, and large-scale development planning. 

Michael brings more than a decade of engineering consulting leadership experience, including more than 10 years at Glumac, where he served as Regional Energy Director and Los Angeles Office Leader. He has particular expertise in doing energy modeling work, which translates how engineering and building design decisions directly contribute to a project’s business case.  

Michael has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Cal Poly Pomona, and has CEA and LEED AP BD+C credentials.
