Brian advises portfolio-scale developers, owners, and asset and property management teams on how power and energy strategy should inform major business and investment decisions. He helps clients evaluate existing portfolios, identify opportunities to repurpose or reposition assets, and assess strategic acquisitions by connecting energy availability, infrastructure requirements, operating costs, and execution risk to the underlying business case.
Brian’s work positions power and energy as strategic assets and deliberate capital investments, not simply operating expenses. He develops portfolio-level strategies that align energy investments with acquisition plans, asset-management priorities, operational performance, and long-term business objectives.
Before joining Smart Grid Options, Brian spent approximately 12 years at Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, where he advanced to Vice President and Director of Energy and led teams delivering strategic and technical energy consulting services for complex building portfolios and infrastructure programs.
Brian has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from UCLA and is based in Los Angeles.
